Their cultural work and recipes have been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, Bloomberg, WWD, NPR, CNN, with food styling cover work in Bon Appétit and cover feature profiles in New York Magazine The Cut and Cherry Bombe Magazine.

They were formerly a Creative Director for Food & Culture for The Standard Hotels International, and Executive Chef for Mission Chinese Food New York. They’ve done speaking engagements presenting their work in The White House, The Museum of Modern Art New York with keynote speeches from local nonprofit community farms in their hometown of San Jose, CA to global stages like restaurant noma’s MAD Food Symposium in Copenhagen, Denmark and for Slow Food symposium in Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam and televised live for Bloomberg TV, CNN, The Tamron Hall Show, and The Filipino Channel.

- Creative direction, curator, and chef for a multi-level gala for Rockbund Art Museum, Shanghai, China where the museum was transformed into a fictional “Wai Han Hotel”, with a hotel room bed in the lobby, edible tide pool table arrangements, a passionfruit olive oil sheet cake for 150 people, featuring live performances by Bhenji Ra, Tosh Basco, and Bobby Beethoven

- Gala dinner chef honoring Precious Okoyomon for Foundacion Beyeler, Basel, Switzerland. Dessert offered on the patio with fresh 12 herb soft serve ice cream, and a cheeseboard offering as an edible pond, lamb merguez “cattails” and rock colored and shaped rolls.

- Theater director, host, chef, curator for an experimental talk show called Living Room Concept at Performance Space New York. Surprised guests with a Cameo from Kenny G to serenade them into their surprise delivery from fictional and branded fast food restaurant “Angel’s World” to accompany a film screening, live musical act from Miho Hatori, and poetry reading and prayer for Gaza by Fariha Róisín.

- A Filipino buffet dinner adorned with a 20 foot long bean braids, bittermelon chains, and lumpia towers celebrating Pacita Abad’s exhibition for San Francisco Museum of Art

- Event creative director and chef celebrating fine artist Stephanie Comilang with a Filipino cover band, a car split in half and installed indoors to make a “Car Surprise” installation for the celebrant, and food installation buffet in a theater for TBA21 Madrid
